There are two clips; one for the collar and the other for the harness so that should either one come adrift for any reason then you still have control of the dog.
There is also the option of a ‘ladder handle’ behind the rear clip to give close control , or midway of the lead , effectively shortening the lead when necessary.
The main looped handle can be hand held or attached to our walking belt.
It is important to get the right distance between the clips, so that the rear clip does the work of taking the load away from the neck. This distance will vary according to the type of collar used and the size of the dog. We will make the lead to the measurements you supply.
How to measure :
In the main image there are two clips. The shortest on attaches to the harness, while the longest attaches to the collar. Take this measurement with the harness on your dog and allow a ‘little for slack’ so that the the pull is on the harness and not on the collar.
